Manager - Senior Finance Hires - LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Badenoch + Clark) Job Title: Head of Transactional Finance Remuneration: Annual salary from £70,000 to £90,000 Permanent, Full Time Responsibilities: Lead and inspire the transactional finance teams—Sales Invoicing, Credit Control, and Accounts Payable (approximately 35 people). Set clear objectives, conduct regular one-on-ones, and provide ongoing support to your team. Oversee the integration of acquisitions into transactional finance processes seamlessly. Drive continuous improvement in internal processes and implement new controls as necessary. Ensure strict adherence to finance policies and procedures throughout the organisation. Collaborate with auditors and maintain open communication with key stakeholders. Manage day-to-day operations, including performance reviews and objective setting for your teams. Contribute to cash forecasting efforts through accurate data collation. Review aged debt and manage bad debt provisions effectively. Own and oversee the SAP Concur expenses processes. Handle the incentive payments process and engage in ad hoc project work as needed. Provide day-to-day support and training on financial changes to empower your teams. Person Specification ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant or equivalent experience. Proven background in sales invoicing, credit control, and accounts payable. Experience managing a large team effectively. Strong MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups. Familiarity with financial systems and a track record of implementing improvements. Previous experience with SAP B1 and managing change within finance and the broader business is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a flexible, can-do attitude. Willingness to travel to the Head Office and other sites across the UK as needed.
