WYCA values collaboration, innovation, and fairness, and aims to create a region that is prosperous, well-connected, and environmentally responsible.What You'll Be DoingLead the strategic management of WYCA's non-transport assets, potentially growing to a £1 billion portfolio.Develop and deliver a Corporate Asset Management Strategy aligned with WYCA's regional goals.Manage acquisitions, disposals, and commercial partnerships to maximise value and impact.Oversee the corporate asset register and asset management system with robust governance and accurate data.Lead place-based asset strategies in collaboration with partner organisations.Drive income generation through lease management and capital receipts.Ensure compliance with health & safety, legal, and financial regulations.Build and lead a high-performing team, promoting professionalism and innovation.Influence senior stakeholders across the organisation and externally to align asset decisions with strategic priorities.ProfileThe Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will be a strategic, commercially minded leader with deep expertise in asset management, particularly across land and property portfolios.
