Join to apply for the CNC Setter role at Traffic Generation Marketing CNC Setter - Double Days A recognised high volume manufacturer is currently looking to strengthen their Engineering department with the appointment of a CNC Setter, working from their manufacturing facility in Shropshire. The CNC Setter will be responsible for: Support production on a daily basis. Competent in running CNCs and all aspects of machine performance, fault finding and diagnostics. Maintain hydraulic fixture operation, clamping repeatability and machining position to casting. Change tools, track tool life and investigate tool breakages. Monitor part quality, adjust offsets and improve process capability. Develop and maintain process documentation and assist in the generation of SWIs. Set procedures and standards. Drive TPM and 5S. Train, mentor and guide others on operating equipment safely and correctly. Other related duties as determined by the Process Engineering Manager or Process Engineers. Promote the company's HSE policies across the department and plant. The successful candidate should have a minimum of an apprenticeship or formal qualification and proven experience in CNC machine setting.
