Location: Walsall WS9 Pay: From £15 per hour Hours: 07:30-16:30 Mon‑Thurs, 07:30-14:00 Friday Job Type: Full-time Role Overview We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter / Operator to join a fast‑paced engineering environment. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 3 and 4‑axis CNC milling machines to produce precision components to tight tolerances (±0.15 mm). Key Responsibilities Analyse technical drawings and specifications to determine optimal machining methods and sequences. Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Fanuc controls) for precision component production. Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy, tolerances, and quality standardsli> Work with various materials, including Inconel. Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining challenges. Essential Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years' experience operating CNC machines, preferably milling. Proficiency in Fanuc controls (G‑code programming). Experience with 3 and 4‑axis milling operations. Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. High attention to detail, precision, and adherence to tolerances.
