Job Overview Royal Caribbean Group Marine Operations is looking for a Workforce Scheduler to join our UK office located in Weybridge. Please be aware that we can only consider candidates based in the UK with full right to work. As a Workforce Scheduler, you will carry out workforce planning and logistics for Marine Operations. Follow operational guidelines and directives from Marine Operations and department leadership. Responsibilities Schedules crew assignments and rotation planning for the Marine department Provides information supporting an effective par level planning process and related procedures Designs and implements optimised solutions for fleet needs pertaining to the Marine cost centre Ensures effective communication with Marine operations, department leadership, fellow team members, and crew members in areas related to scheduling, succession planning, recruitment, and logistics as appropriate Complies with applicable rules and regulations including, but not limited to, SQM, flag state and port state legislation, collective bargaining agreements and company policies in all aspects relating to workforce planning Provides complete and accurate employee data in the Human Resources system for assigned departments and/or positions including performance data for succession planning Performs related duties as assigned and other duties as required Requires previous experience in one or more of the following functions: workforce planning, analytics, scheduling, or logistics services Knowledge of automated human resources and workforce planning systems preferred Good working knowledge of Excel and reporting systems Determines the necessary sequence of activities and the efficient level of resources required to fulfill fleet needs Proven track‑record for applying optimisation techniques in one or more domains such as inventory optimisation and crew planning Evaluates a problematic situation and creates a resolution based on planning and reasoning; uses logic, judgement, and data to drive decisions Visualises, articulates, and solves both complex and uncomplicated problems and concepts, and makes decisions that make sense based on all available information Quickly learns and applies knowledge, skills, and judgement by assessing and translating data into responsive and effective planning solutions Communicates tactfully, verbally and in writing, to gather and relay information in a multinational environment consisting of department heads, managers, coworkers, and shipboard employees Knowledge of applicable immigration and visa requirements preferred Company Information Royal Caribbean Group is the world’s largest cruise line, having a record-breaking year and launching not one but two brand new ships in 2025 It couldn’t be a more exciting time to join a global business that is blazing a trail in the travel industry right now.
