Home Marketing & Business Development Executive Overview Location: Midlands • Salary: DOE • Salary band: Dependant upon experience • Contract type: Permanent Blue Legal is helping a leading UK law firm find a talented Marketing & Business Development Executive to join their collaborative and ambitious team. This is a hands-on opportunity across business development, marketing, and events, working with specialists who drive client relationships, new business and market positioning. Responsibilities Support Business Development Managers in delivering sector and client plans, analysing performance data, and developing campaigns. Contribute to thought leadership, digital content, newsletters, and client communications. Coordinate firm-wide events including seminars, webinars, and corporate hospitality, working closely with the Events Manager. Manage marketing collateral, CVs, photography, and assist with legal directory submissions. Use CRM (OnePlace) and marketing tools (Vuture) to support campaigns, manage lists, and ensure data accuracy. Support social media, website content, podcasts, and video production to enhance brand visibility. Undertake competitor research and market analysis to identify opportunities. Qualifications Previous experience in a marketing and/or business development role, ideally within professional services. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, able to engage confidently with stakeholders. Experience in events coordination, digital marketing, and CRM systems. Organised, proactive, and detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure. A strong team player, motivated, and enthusiastic, with a flexible approach to getting involved across a wide range of projects and initiatives.
