Key Responsibilities Culinary Leadership & Daily Operations Lead, mentor, and inspire the kitchen brigade, cultivating a positive, professional, and motivated team culture. Oversee all day‑to‑day food operations, delivering consistent quality across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and member dining. Maintain a strong hands‑on presence in the kitchen, especially during peak periods and major events. Develop fresh, seasonal, and creative menus that elevate the dining experience. Event Catering Plan and execute standout menus for weddings, celebrations, corporate events, golf society days, and private functions. Work closely with the events team to tailor menus and ensure exceptional delivery across all functions. Food Safety & Compliance Ensure full compliance with food safety legislation, allergen protocols, and HACCP documentation. Champion high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safe working practices throughout the kitchen. Manage purchasing, stock control, and portioning to achieve targeted GP margins. Monitor expenditure, minimise waste, and use data to guide pricing and menu decisions. Maintain strong cost‑awareness while protecting food quality and creativity. Supplier & Stakeholder Relationships Build strong relationships with new and existing suppliers to secure quality produce and competitive pricing. Champion local and seasonal sourcing wherever possible. Work collaboratively with front‑of‑house, management, and events teams to deliver a seamless guest experience. Skills & Experience Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high‑quality hospitality, hotel, or golf club environment. Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and mentoring a kitchen brigade. Creative flair paired with excellent technical skills and a commitment to exceptional food. Solid knowledge of food safety, allergens, kitchen compliance, and modern kitchen operations. Financial acumen with experience in cost control and achieving GP targets. A calm, organised, hands‑on approach with a positive and professional attitude.
