Lecturer in Health, Wellbeing and Social Care Join GEDU Global Education as a Lecturer in Health, Wellbeing & Social Care. We are partnered with Oxford Brookes University and seek experienced academic staff to deliver the BSc (Hons) programme. Department: Academic/Oxford Brookes University partnership (OBU) Location: Greenford – On site Salary: £55,000 Contract: Full‑time, Permanent (40 hrs per week) – Sponsorship not offered. Our Vision: Changing lives through education. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess all student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met. Develop, update, and improve course materials as appropriate. Use a variety of learning and teaching methods and materials. Actively engage in staff development, peer observations, meetings and administrative duties. Stay up to date with developments in the field and student support practices. Work towards targets for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression. About You Hold a Master’s in a relevant subject (PhD desirable). Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the field. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the subject matter. Experience supervising student work and providing support/feedback. Accurate reporting and maintaining thorough, organised student records. Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills. Experience working with diverse groups of people. Desirable Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent, or commitment to enrol in a teaching programme during probation.
