So, if you want to help shape the future of betting and gaming, then it's to time to join us.Job PurposeYou will be actively involved in development, therefore responsible for implementing sections of functionality, ensuring they are delivered on time with the correct approach and to the standards defined.Job DutiesLead the design, development, and maintenance of software applications ensuring quality, efficiency and maximising performance and minimising technical debt.Feature development and evaluation of the tooling processes both in development and deployment alongside the Platform Engineering team.Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code that meets the requirements of the project.Debug and resolve software issues, including fixing bugs and optimizing performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Designers, Testers, and Project Managers, to deliver high-quality software.Provide technical direction and guidance to the development team, including code reviews, mentoring and ensuring the platform coding standards are being adhered to.Implement and follow software development processes, including Agile and Scrum methodologies, and lead process improvement efforts.Stay up-to-date with new technologies and programming languages and apply this knowledge to improve software development processes.Document software design, code, and test procedures, and ensure that all documentation is complete and accurate.Participate in the estimation of software development projects and lead the planning and scheduling of projects.Participate in customer and end-user interactions to gather requirements and provide support.Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including user manuals and help systems.Mentor junior members of the team and supporting their professional growth as well as guiding other C#.Net team members.Act as a liaison between the Engineering team and Senior Management, communicating project status and technical challenges.Assume a leadership role in the company, representing the Engineering team and promoting best practices in software development.Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceEssentialC# .NET (Framework and Core), SQL/MySQL building web servicesEnterprise level single page applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and excellent and current knowledge and experience with Javascript frameworksKnowledge of the latest ES standards and TypeScript is beneficialA keen eye for detail is important, especially in this role when it comes to UX/UIExcellent understanding or OOP concepts and design patternsExperience with Message brokersNoSQL experience also beneficialAny history working with WinForms/WPF is usefulExpert knowledge of software design and architectureExperience of TDD or similar approaches to ensuring qualitySource Control using GitExperience working in an Agile environmentAn excellent communicator, both verbal and writtenLove working as part of a team and larger working groups;
