About the Role We are looking for an After School Programs Site Coordinator who will be in charge of the planning, implementation, and administration of after‑school programs for students. Schedule: We need availability to supervise day and after care (Monday to Friday Mornings 6.30am to 7:45am - Afternoons 2.30 to 6pm and only on Wednesdays 1.20pm to 6pm) Responsabilities Research and stay up‑to‑date on best practices in youth development, recreational education, and after‑school programming. Support curriculum plans and activities for each program, ensuring they are educational, safe, and fun. Ensure program alignment with HOKALI's mission and values, promoting a healthy lifestyle, environmental respect, and personal growth. Coordinate the logistics of all programs, including activity scheduling, facility booking, and transportation when necessary. Oversee and manage the budget allocated to after‑school programs, ensuring efficient resource utilization. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and HOKALI's internal policies across all activities. Maintain accurate and detailed records of attendance, participant progress, and any incidents. Manage the inventory of equipment and materials needed for the programs. Train and supervise a large team of instructors and supervisors ensuring they have the appropriate skills and attitude for working with children. Provide ongoing guidance and support to program staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Handle inquiries, complaints, or difficult situations with professionalism and empathy. Identify areas for improvement in program design, implementation, and management. Meet and report regularly to the Area Manager regarding program, site, and staff performance. Qualifications An educational background in education, child development, or a related field is highly preferred. Passion for education and working with kids. Strong leadership and professionalism skills when working with schools and students. Experience working in schools and leading large teams. Ability to engage and inspire students in a fun and educational environment. Ability and willingness to complete 6 hours of online training prior to the start date (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR).
