Yorkshire Water Storm Overflow Alliance to deliver AMP8 capital investment programme Northumbrian Water appoints Stantec as strategic technical partner for AMP8 United Utilities appoints Stantec to Design Development Partners Framework for AMP8 Thanks to these appointments and a range of ongoing projects such as Coire Glas and Cruachan, we are looking to continue growing our team in Newcastle & Leeds. You will deliver technical solutions & advice, ensuring projects are delivered to cost, schedule, technical, and quality standards. Our work spans from front‑end design to design & build projects, including new build reservoirs such as Cheddar & SESRO, and existing reservoir maintenance. You will work within professional and collaborative teams, all aimed at delivering world‑class solutions for our clients and the communities around us. About You We are interested in speaking with degree‑qualified engineers who have achieved Chartered status with a relevant engineering institution (e.g., IEI, ICE, CIWEM). You will have extensive experience in dam engineering, hydraulic stresses & hydropower, and ideally have achieved Supervising Engineer accreditation – though support can be provided to achieve this. Preferably, you’ll have previous consultancy experience, experience managing civil engineers, and coordinating with other technical professionals to achieve holistic technical outcomes.
