For you, as an Activities Co-ordinator at De Brook Lodge, it means planning and implementing activities that delight our residents, helping the Home Manager organise essential fundraising events, giving residents confidence to socialize more effectively, developing new activity ideas based on residents’ hobbies, and getting the rest of the care home team involved—all with a sense of kindness above all else. Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging activities for residents. Organize fundraising events and collaborate with the Home Manager. Support residents to socialize and participate in community life. Develop new activity ideas aligned with residents' interests and hobbies. Collaborate with the care team to incorporate activities into daily routines. Maintain a positive, supportive environment for all residents. Key Qualifications & Skills Background working with vulnerable individuals. Experience developing activity programmes. Excellent planning, organizational, and IT skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time effectively and stay organised. Strong safeguarding awareness and ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect.
