About The RoleWe have a great opportunity at our Head Office in Nottingham for a Facilities Administrator in the Property department.You WillBe the first point of contact for the reporting of all property concerns from our stores & Head OfficeFacilitate allocation and callouts with external contractors and our in-house maintenance engineers across areas including electrical, heating and Health & Safety mattersAllocate and monitor jobs for our maintenance engineers and ensure that repairs are carried out in a timely manner and logged accuratelyEnsure all gas and electrical servicing is carried out on a timely basis and maintain accurate records and certificationCommunicate regularly with the Facilities Manager, maintenance engineers and any other business stakeholders as and when requiredWork closely with external contractors, such as alarm monitoring centres, waste management companies, decorators, signage contractors etc. to ensure that works are quoted and approved by the Facilities ManagerUndertake departmental administration which will include obtaining quotes for approval, recording and monitoring purchase order allocation, processing invoices for payment and managing filing, ensuring documentation is stored correctlyWhat You’ll Need - Skills and ExperienceA strong and professional communicator able to receive and manage feedback from our stores, Head Office and external suppliers/contractorsProficient in Microsoft Office / ExcelGood planning and organisational skills showing attention to detailPro‑active approach and willingness to embrace new challengesProperty maintenance experience / knowledge preferable but not essentialBenefitsStaff DiscountsHealthcare Cash plansA company pension schemeLife CoverAccess to the Retail Trust, our well‑being platform – offering a 24‑hour helpline for a variety of support servicesDiscounts on 100’s of high street & online brands including restaurants, holidays and shoppingRole‑specific training and developmentProactive promotion of internal candidatesPaid BreaksFree Tea & CoffeeAbout The CompanyMachine Mart are the UK’s leading specialist retailer of workshop power tools and equipment to the general public and trade customers.
