In our quest to deliver patient‑focused quality care we are looking to recruit a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic Data Analyst and SARs Coordinator to join our forward‑thinking, friendly and expanding Health & Justice teams in the Surrey prisons. Key Responsibilities Maintain the quality of data held within the Trust’s clinical systems (e.g. SystmOne, Nebula) for Healthcare services in the Surrey Prisons, including auditing patient health records and data entry/corrections. Support the completion and monitoring of Subject Access Requests. Work as an integral part of the Performance and Administration team, supporting Primary Care, Mental Health and Substance Misuse services within Surrey Prisons. Assist with training new staff members and support general administration for the team. Use the Trust’s Business Intelligence solution (Tableau) to source information, act as a Tableau champion and support services to maximize its benefits. Handle all patient‑identifiable data securely, applying Information Governance principles. Prepare and maintain Data Quality Team reports, and carry out audits to identify and resolve data quality issues. Support clinical systems user queries and provide meeting administration as required. Maintain compliance with local and national data standards, and inform the line manager promptly of any new data quality concerns. Work flexibly within a team, responding to changing priorities and supporting patient safety, risk management and quality improvement. Person Specification Education and Qualifications GCSE English and Maths Grade C and above or equivalent qualification. Skills & Knowledge Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work positively and flexibly within a team with constantly changing priorities. Understanding of data quality and the causes and impact of poor data quality. Resilience and ability to deal with sensitive information. Analytical and methodical thinker with excellent problem‑solving skills. Desirable Criteria General understanding of Key Performance Indicators. Understanding of the Data Protection Act and issues around confidentiality. Ability to work independently and plan and prioritise workload in a pressurised environment. Evidence of personal development. Previous experience working within a Prison, Healthcare or similar setting. Previous Experience Experience in a similar role where data monitoring/resolving was a key element of the post.
