We’re looking for a dedicated Personal Assistant to help someone live independently and confidently in their own home and support with access to the community. Your role will include supporting daily routines, helping where necessary with household tasks and personal care. If you’re compassionate, proactive, and ready to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from youResponsibilitiesAssist with daily personal care, showering and helping where necessaryEnsure with any mobility issuesProvide support to collect medication, groceries.Support household tasks, such cleaning and keeping a safe environment,Facilitate with community access, including accompanying to GP and hospital appointments and arranging transport when needed.Full Driving Licence required and access to own vehicleHours: 10 per week - (Flexible - no weekends)Rate: £12.21 per hourDesirable QualificationsExperience in care or support roles – Familiarity with assisting individuals with mobility or personal care needs.Knowledge of local community resourcesBasic first aid or health awarenessImportant InformationAs part of our Information Advice and Guidance Service, Plymouth City Council Direct Payments Team supports disabled people to employ their own staff.
