We’re looking for a motivated graduate to join our Newcastle team as a Graduate Sustainability Engineer. This is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to become part of a collaborative, forward‑thinking consultancy that is committed to creating smarter, greener buildings. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of projects, gaining hands‑on experience in sustainability and building services disciplines. From day one, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver energy‑efficient solutions, advise on leading sustainability standards such as BREEAM, WELL and LEED, and use advanced thermal modelling tools to assess building performance. Your role will also include preparing sustainability statements for planning applications, contributing to feasibility studies, and learning how mechanical and electrical systems integrate into sustainable design. This is a generalist position, giving you exposure to multiple aspects of MEP design and sustainability – perfect for someone who wants to build a well‑rounded foundation for their career. We’re looking for someone with a relevant degree in sustainability, building services or a similar field, who combines strong analytical skills with a collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for creating better buildings. You should be comfortable using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office and eager to learn new tools and techniques.
