You'll enjoy using your commercial expertise to mobilise contracts, manage their delivery and performance, implement contract changes, and handle risk management within the contracts. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeWe're seeking a Commercial Contracts Specialist to join our property services commercial team, this role can be based in any of our head offices, including Dorset, Basingstoke, Bristol, Wembley and Newbury locations.Key AccountabilitiesTo own and maintain the Property Services contracting databaseResponsible for oversight and monitoring of the implementation of all live contracts across Property Services.Responsible for managing and communicating all contract changes, and control notices, instigated through contract negotiation, performance, change requests, contract extensions, and contract innovation.Coordination of the contractual documentation sign-off process with the Procurement TeamProvide commercial advice and guidance on contractual matters, referring to and co-ordinating external legal advice where required.Oversee payment assessments, and supplier performance, and conduct supplier audits.Ensure adherence to contract KPIs and deliver regular performance feedback.Represent the commercial team at monthly review meetings with all contractors (strategic and important partners) where we spend more than £5m over the life of the contract.Liaison with other key subject matter experts across the business, i.e. finance, health and safety, and procurement, to ensure SNG is compliant with the contractual and commercial obligations.Be a central point of contact for all operational portfolio leads, about any commercial or contractual issuesQualificationsExpert understanding of contract management and supplier relationship management (SRM) and the principles of end-to-end commercial lifecycle managementExperience in the compilation of contracts, contractual design, and contract legal frameworkExperience in enacting contract change control processesExperience in managing the contract lifecycle with a supply chainSignificant experience in the commercial contracting and subcontracting fieldAbility to plan, track, and forecast income and expenditure against relevant budgets, to deliver a value-for-money service whilst taking actions to mitigate any risksAbility to analyse business information and formulate metrics that drive improvementsGood Communicator, both written and verbalHigh Level of Microsoft Office SkillsBenefitsDiscounted shopping & cycling scheme25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (with an extra day every year up to 30 days)Up to 3 x paid well being days and 2 x paid volunteering days per yearCompany pension scheme matched up to 12%, life cover at 4x your salaryFlexible working - we're committed to giving people flexibility as widely as possiblePrivate medical insurance, dental insurance & critical illness coverSeniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionOther #J-18808-Ljbffr
