We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our well-established Accounts team as a Legal Cashier. Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, have a passion for finance and an ability to build positive relationships with both clients and colleagues. As a key member of a team of five, the main purpose of the role is to support the Finance Manager by undertaking a full range of accounting and cashiering duties in order to deliver outstanding client service. Responsibilities Operating the office and client bank accounts in accordance with the SRA and practice policies Receiving and checking supplier invoices and preparing appropriate payments for authorisation through a variety of methods. Ensuring that the firm complies with the Solicitor’s Accounts Rules and all other regulatory obligations. Operating the office petty cash account Managing overdue accounts and issuing reminders to clients as required. Assisting colleagues with general accounts enquiries and producing appropriate reports when needed.
