Based in their London office, you will lead a talented team of communication professionals, collaborating closely with executives, business units, and regional teams to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across various channels.Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans aligned with corporate objectives, ensuring consistency with brand identity and messaging across all channels.Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to secure positive coverage and manage crisis communications effectively.Executive Communication: Provide strategic counsel and support to senior leadership, including preparation of speeches, presentations, and talking points for public appearances and media engagements.Internal Communication: Develop internal communication strategies and initiatives to foster employee engagement, alignment, and understanding of corporate goals and values.Brand Management: Oversee brand positioning and messaging to ensure alignment with corporate values and market trends, leveraging insights to enhance brand reputation and differentiation.Content Development: Lead the creation and distribution of compelling content, including press releases, articles, social media posts, and multimedia materials, to engage target audiences and drive brand awareness.Digital Communication: Drive digital communication strategies, leveraging online platforms, social media, and digital tools to amplify brand presence, engage stakeholders, and monitor online reputation.Government Affairs: Collaborate with government affairs teams to develop communication strategies that support regulatory initiatives, advocacy efforts, and legislative priorities.Measurement and Analytics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.Budget Management: Manage communication budgets effectively, allocating resources efficiently to maximize ROI and achieve strategic objectives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in corporate communications, preferably within the energy sector or related industries.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling ability.Demonstrated expertise in media relations, crisis communications, and executive communication.Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute communication plans aligned with business objectives.Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management and analytics.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Knowledge of global energy markets, regulatory environment, and sustainability trends is a plus.If you are a seasoned communications professional with a passion for driving positive change in the energy sector and have the skills and experience to lead our global communication efforts, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
