About The Role As a Driver/ Warehouse Assistant, you will take on a key dual-function role within the business. You will ensure the safe and efficient delivery and collection of materials, tools, and equipment, while also maintaining a clean, tidy, and compliant workshop environment. This role plays a vital part in supporting both the parts and engineering teams, helping to keep day-to-day operations flowing effectively. Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered. Working hours for this role are 0800 - 1700, Monday - Friday, although will consider part time for the right candidate. Main Duties And Responsibilities Safely deliver and collect parts, tools, and materials between company sites, suppliers, and customer locations, ensuring goods are correctly loaded, secured, and handled. Represent the company professionally during all deliveries and collections. Maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation, including machinery, tools, work surfaces, stores, and surrounding areas. Support engineers with basic workshop tasks such as moving equipment and preparing materials. Assist with waste management, ensuring correct segregation and disposal of materials. Support the Parts Department with stock control activities when required. Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures, using appropriate PPE and reporting any hazards or unsafe conditions. About You As a Driver/ Warehouse Assistant, you will hold a full UK driving licence and have a good understanding of manual handling and safe working practices. You will be reliable, practical, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Basic mechanical or engineering knowledge is an advantage but not essential. The successful candidate will also be physically fit, proactive, and have a strong attention to detail, with a positive attitude and willingness to support wherever needed.
