Supplying product worldwide, this is an excellent opportunity to work for a company with a great history that offers long term security and technical challenge.Role DescriptionWorking with Senior Managers to ensure that employees remain in a safe working environment and providing advice where appropriate.Determine the strategic direction and work priorities (in conjunction with the management team) for the continuous improvement of the H&S processes and policies across all locations where employees are based, in accordance with the relevant legislation.Advise, guide, support, promote awareness and coach all personnel with the implementation of the company's policies and procedures. Complete other projects at the request of the ManagementWork with Senior Managers in driving a change in the businessGetting into the factory and implementing tools and techniques to bring a stronger view on site safetyAssuring best practice alwaysWorking on short- and long-term projects in the businessSkills and QualificationsNEBOSH Diploma preferred (or equivalent)IOSH CertificationISO AccreditedExperience within manufacturing.A positive 'can do' attitude and drive to succeedExperience in the management of health, safety and environmental systems.Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.Continuous Improvement experience (5S, Kaizen, 8D etc.)Company InformationAs a business our client is a market leader in printing production and distribution across the whole of the UK.
