OverviewEquans is seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to join our growing South of England team. In this dynamic and mobile role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and supporting building services across a range of client sites. If you're someone who thrives on variety, values high standards, and wants to work with a company committed to sustainability, innovation, and safety - this is the role for you.Job Title: Mobile M&E EngineerLocation: South of England (South London & areas just outside)Business Area: MTS SouthWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSalary: £44,000 - £44,700 per annumResponsibilitiesCarry out scheduled PPMs and reactive maintenance tasks on M&E systemsDiagnose faults and perform repairs or replacements across plant and equipmentRespond to emergency breakdowns, including participation in an on-call rotaSupervise and manage third-party contractor work when requiredEnsure safety, quality, and environmental standards are consistently metMaintain accurate records via CAFM systems and electronic reporting toolsProvide input into condition and dilapidation reportsLiaise effectively with clients, ensuring excellent customer serviceSupport SHEQ requirements, including accurate and timely incident reportingWhat we're looking forEssential:Recognised apprenticeship (EITB/CITB) or relevant technical qualificationsCity & Guilds or equivalent in electrical/mechanical disciplines18th Edition Electrical CertificationBroad experience with M&E services in commercial or corporate environmentsFamiliarity with CAFM systemsStrong fault-finding and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematicsL8 Awareness (Legionella control)Full UK driving licenceDesirable:Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH / IOSH)Experience working with multiple manufacturer systems and equipmentWhat we offerCompetitive salary between £44,000 and £44,700Ongoing training and development opportunitiesCompany vehicle and tools providedSupportive team environment within a leading FM and energy services providerOpportunities to grow and develop within a global organisation committed to sustainability and excellenceSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeIndustry focusCommercial and Industrial Machinery Maintenance, Electronic and Precision Equipment Maintenance, and Repair and Maintenance #J-18808-Ljbffr
