Job Description Our client is part of a large multi-disciplinary consultancy providing health and safety, environmental and asbestos services to both private and public sectors nationwide. Currently, they are looking for a focused, self‑driven Asbestos Operations Manager to join their busy office in the south‑central area. Qualifications & Experience Must have attained the P402/P403/P404/S301 or CCP qualifications. Must have a proven track record working within this role – asbestos, operational, technical and office management experience and within the asbestos sector. Managing a team while developing an asbestos air‑monitoring and air‑testing department and gaining UKAS accreditation (analytical) for the company. Providing asbestos consultancy to clients in accordance with all legislative and in‑house procedures. Participating in training and mentoring the staff/team. Liaising with clients/customers or the general public in a professional manner and carrying any administrative duties. Complying with all quality and technical procedures regarding asbestos. Attending sites – carrying out audits, reporting analytical findings and producing accurate asbestos reports. Updating databases, producing management plans and quotations. Requirements Will be focused, articulate and have good communication, organisational, management and client‑facing skills and the ability to work effectively.
