Activities Lead

South Coast Nursing Homes is an established, family‑owned and managed care home company based in Worthing, West Sussex. We operate nine homes across East and West Sussex, with 411 beds providing 24‑hour, person‑centred care for both long‑term and short‑term residents. We are looking for an Activities Lead to join our team at Eastridge Manor, a specialist dementia nursing home in Bolney, near Haywards Heath. Reporting to the Home Manager, the Activities Lead works with an enthusiastic activities team to carry out planned, proactive, and innovative activities. The team is committed to providing professional, respectful, and person‑centred activities within a safe environment both inside and outside the home. This hands‑on role requires appropriate experience and a commitment to delivering a first‑class service to all residents. Responsibilities Plan activities according to residents' interests. Ensure activities are scheduled for the day and carried out. Manage the activities budget. Liaise with internal and external providers. Manage staff allocation and support training of new staff. Qualifications Experience in a similar role (preferred). Excellent communication skills. Strong problem‑solving and multi‑tasking abilities. Basic IT skills, including Excel, Word and MS Office. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Remuneration and Benefits £13.13 per hour on weekdays and £13.79 per hour on weekends. Access to pay as you earn it.
