For more information, visit quorumsoftware.com What You Will Do Lead the Previso software development team Define priorities and the product roadmap with internal and external stakeholders Balance project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables to achieve long-term goals Expand cloud functionality and support for integration with other software/services Continuously improve the performance of the application’s core simulation engine Plan and execute short-term tasks through two-week agile sprint cycles Assist solution architects in the implementation of the product with new clients Handle inbound client support requests, resolving software issues where applicable Monitor, detect, and resolve software issues using bug tracking software Build testing models in Previso Document features and release notes as required And other duties as assigned What To Bring (Qualifications) Minimum 7 years experience in a software development and/or engineering role with 3+ years leading a product or development team Web application and API development experience Upstream oil and gas domain experience, preferably within the gas production and processing field Mathematical modelling experience (numerical methods such as linear programming, root-finding, differentiation, optimization) Scripting language experience (Python/LUA) Strong understanding of modern software development practices (repository management, CI/CD pipelines, testing) Procedural programming experience using Fortran Nice To Have Windows desktop application development using Visual Studio (.NET/WPF) Experience working with a co-located team Independent contributor Ability to convert requirements into stories and deliver fully tested solutions Knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps Additional Details Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
