About the role:

This is our first lead in-house development role; you will play an integral part in building and shaping the team for the future to deliver innovative Microsoft Dynamics Business Central solutions.

At Harding+, we're transforming our technology capability, building for the future, and investing in fit-for-purpose solutions. Following the implementation of Business Central in 2022, we are continuing to capitalize on the investment and provide business solutions that deliver value for our landside and shipboard teams while also enhancing our guests' cruise experience.

Based in Avonmouth, Bristol on a hybrid working basis – 2-3 days per week.

Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare cash plan, 26 days leave annually (including Christmas shutdown)

What you will be doing:

  • Leading our development team and our partners in delivering innovative Microsoft Dynamics Business Central solutions.
  • Overseeing the release process, ensuring timely and high-quality deployments while customizing, extending, and integrating Business Central with external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and our partners to implement changes and provide ongoing support.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior developers, encouraging a knowledge-sharing culture within the team.
  • Working within agile and DevOps/Jira methodologies, taking a big-picture approach to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and impactful for end users while driving innovation and continuous improvement.

About you:

  • Experience as a Lead Dynamics 365 Developer with a particular focus on Business Central.
  • Strong knowledge of AL, SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, Liquid, and other relevant programming languages for Dynamics 365 development.
  • Experience providing solutions from both a business and a technical perspective.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Experience with Azure services and cloud-based solutions would be ideal for the role; however, it is not essential.
  • Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK.
