As an autonomous senior physiotherapist you will independently deliver high quality physiotherapy care for complex musculoskeletal conditions, identifying referral needs, managing clinical knowledge, maintaining CPD and discharging caseloads effectively while supporting less experienced colleagues.Job responsibilitiesUndertake assessments in patients presenting often complex musculoskeletal conditions and conditions masquerading as musculoskeletal pathologyAppropriately identify patients who require onward referral to advanced level physiotherapists/consultants or other healthcare consultants including the use of internal escalation pathways for patients presenting with serious pathologyUndertake treatment underpinned by extensive clinical knowledge and skills to deliver high quality patient outcomesMaintain relevant clinical skills and provide ongoing evidence of personal CPD and professional registrationManage complex face to face and remote service caseload effectively ensuring cases are discharged appropriately on systemsSupport colleagues and less experienced members of staff including administration staff and physiotherapy assistant colleagues to enhance clinical outcomes and patient experiencePerson specification – QualificationsExcellent manual therapy skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workloadProficient computer skills and confident communicationPerson specification – ExperienceActive HCPC registration with a comprehensive CPD portfolio reflecting a wide range of physiotherapy experience focused on musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injuriesBenefitsHoliday in line with the Working Time Directive, access to the pension scheme and discounted gym membership at £15.00 a month.
