We maintain rigorously high standards of quality, whilst also delivering efficiencies to healthcare through careful workforce planning, pioneering technology and significant investment in infrastructure and IT.The roleThe HSL Cellular Pathology service is a consolidated service involving the Royal Free Hospital (RFH), University College London Hospitals (UCLH), Barnet & Chase Farm (B&CF) and the North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH). Our new, purpose designed laboratory at 60 Whitfield Street opened in January 2020, with entirely new equipment, and houses one of the largest Cellular Pathology services in Europe. We also run a spoke laboratory at the Royal Free Hospital, providing fast-track testing for urgent specimens and full medical and advanced practitioner dissection. The service also operates the HSL-Advanced Diagnostics laboratory, providing a local and international IHC, FISH and molecular referral service. The laboratories are accredited by UKAS to ISO15189 : 2022 standards.We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our growing team.Responsibilities/What you’ll doWe currently have positions at the following laboratories :Histopathology, Diagnostic Cytology & HSL-Advanced Diagnostics – 60 Whitfield StreetHistopathology – Royal Free HospitalWe offer a stimulating work environment with a diverse team, competitive salaries, 37.5 hour working week and 28 days annual leave.
