Vice President – Contract Logistics – North Europe

Overview We are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President – Contract Logistics, to lead DP World’s Contract Logistics operations across North Europe. This high-impact role oversees a dynamic, multi-sector portfolio—including acquired businesses and ambitious new growth through M&A and strategic expansion plans. You will be responsible for operational excellence, strategic alignment, customer satisfaction, and business growth across multiple sites and teams. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone with sharp commercial instincts, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering results through innovation and influence. NOTE: a hybrid opportunity with a requirement for regular travel which can be based anywhere in the UK. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Serve as the most senior leader for Contract Logistics in North Europe. Direct a diverse portfolio of operations and act as the escalation point for critical issues. Build high-level relationships with government bodies, educational institutions, and business leaders. Operational Excellence Ensure high-performing, safe, and continuously improving logistics operations. Oversee new site setups and customer integrations. Align policies and processes with regional and global standards. Manage strategic relationships across a portfolio of major technology, automotive, and chemical clients, while actively influencing and driving growth in emerging and incoming verticals. Consistently exceed customer expectations, delivering exceptional service and strong commercial returns for DP World. Business Growth & Development Collaborate with commercial teams and other business units to deliver end-to-end logistics solutions. Drive expansion and brand recognition across North Europe. Lead and develop a large, multi-site team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and long-term engagement. What You Will Bring Degree-level education, ideally in supply chain or logistics. Extensive experience in supply chain solutions across multiple sectors. Must have held senior leadership roles within multinational environments. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking. Detail-oriented and results-driven. High stress tolerance and accountability. Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and operational excellence. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
