Now, we’re searching for a dynamic, ambitious, and confident Reservations, Meeting & Events (M&E) Manager to join our Commercial Team at the fabulous dual‑branded Moxy & Residence Inn SloughWe are the first dual‑branded property in Slough – two hotels in one building, offering both the free‑spirited Moxy experience and the homely, extended‑stay environment of Residence Inn. Whether it's our Fun Hunters at Moxy or our Maximizers at Residence Inn, your role ensures every guest gets the most out of their stay.As the Reservations, Meeting & Events Manager, you will lead the reservations and M&E function while supporting overall hotel commercial performance.ResponsibilitiesOversee all rooms and M&E revenue streams in partnership with the Director of Sales and Commercial TeamManage and convert incoming reservations, group enquiries, and M&E requests in line with commercial strategiesDevelop and maintain strong client, agent, and corporate relationshipsSupport rate setting, contracting, and yield strategiesEnsure both hotels maximise sell‑out efficiency in line with company targetsDeliver monthly revenue targets for Reservations and M&ENegotiate rates using market intelligence and demand calendarsIdentify new leads and contracted corporate opportunitiesManage group bookings, allocations, and operational communicationConduct client show rounds and represent the hotels professionallyAttend commercial meetings, daily briefings, and owners callsLead the Reservations & M&E team including 1‑1s, coaching, and developmentMaintain internal systems including RFP tools (Cvent, Venue Directory, One Source, etc.)Oversee the department in the absence of the DOS or senior commercial leadersManage M&E forecasting, month‑end reporting, and diary managementQualificationsPassion, confidence, and exceptional customer carePrevious experience in reservations and/or M&E within a hotel or fast‑paced environmentExperience leading or supervising a small team (preferred for manager level)Strong written and spoken EnglishExcellent telephone manner and communication skillsStrong knowledge of Opera PMS essentialStrong organisational and multitasking skillsCommercially minded with a proactive approach to securing businessA fun, spirited workplace where you can be your true selfBenefitsThe opportunity to be part of a global family with 220,000+ colleagues worldwideA "work hard, play hard" cultureIndustry‑leading training and career developmentDiscounts at 7,000+ hotels worldwideThe chance to grow with one of Europe's most innovative hotel management companiesThe opportunity to be part of something exciting as we continue to expand our portfolio and talentIf you believe you have what it takes and want to join our growing family, we want to hear from youPlease apply by email with your CV, current salary, and notice period.
