As a receptionist you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm, friction‑free experience. You will handle transactions, provide local insights, and anticipate the needs of every guest to create a memorable stay. Hours 20 hours per week, evening and weekend availability required (preferably 5:10 p.m.). Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner. Check‑in/check‑out guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services. Answer the telephone promptly and courteously. Up‑sell services to maximise hotel revenue. Resolve customer issues, requests and enquiries promptly. Communicate outstanding guest requests or issues to management. Accurately process cash and credit card transactions using established procedures. Comply with health and safety procedures; report incidents or concerns to supervisor or manager on duty. Work as part of a team and coordinate with other departments. Provide local knowledge for tours, attractions, etc. Complete necessary reports required by management. Manage reception tills, floats, and lodgement of money. How do I Deliver this?
