Swim Teacher (Casual) Bolton, Greater Manchester £17.36 per hour plus £2.10 per hour holiday pay. Temporary position. Bolton School – a leading independent school with excellent sports and leisure facilities open to the community and commercial clients year‑round. BSS Leisure Services is recruiting experienced Level 2 Swim Teachers to deliver the expanding Bolton School Swim Scheme. The role involves teaching swimming classes primarily in the evenings and on weekends. Key responsibilities: Teach swimming lessons to pupils in line with the Swim England National Plan for Teaching Swimming. Plan and organise swim sessions, ensuring safety and effective learning outcomes. Maintain and follow up on attendance records and pupil progress. Engage with parents and school staff to support pupil development. Qualifications and skills: Qualified Level 2 Swim Teacher. Understanding of the Swim England National Plan for Teaching Swimming (desirable). Strong customer‑focused attitude, initiative, and flexibility with working hours. Willingness to undertake an Enhanced Criminal Records Check. Bolton School, with roughly 2,500 pupils, is an academically selective day school situated on a 32‑acre campus a mile from the town centre. It also supports a Trading Arm, Bolton School Services Limited, which includes BSS Weddings and Events, BSS Leisure Services, Kidzone and Patterdale Hall, an outdoor pursuits centre near Lake Ullswater.
