Mental Health Social Worker Key Responsibilities Undertake strengths-based social care assessments and reviews in line with Care Act principles. Carry out mental capacity assessments, best interest decisions, and safeguarding enquiries where required. Apply knowledge of Section 117 aftercare, attending multi-agency and professional meetings as appropriate. Work collaboratively with health partners and community services to promote enablement and recovery. Record and manage caseloads using LAS (Liquidlogic) – experience preferred but not essential. Contribute to service development, promoting dignity, inclusion, and empowerment. About Yourself Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in adult mental health or a related setting. Confident in applying legislation such as the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Mental Health Act 1983. Excellent communication, assessment, and case management skills. Compassionate, proactive, and motivated to make a real difference.
