Specialist CAMHS Practitioner – Integrated Front Door (IFD) Join Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust as a specialist CAMHS practitioner co‑located with Bolton Integrated Front Door. Work under the supervision of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team (CAMHS) to support mental health services for children and young people. Job Summary Senior specialist role within Bolton Integrated Front Door, responsible for identifying, supporting and signposting children and families with mental health, emotional and behavioural needs. Provide guidance, teaching and specialist knowledge to families/carers and other professionals, and promote service delivery. Main responsibilities Recognise, promote and support consultation methods to assess potential or reported mental health, emotional health or behavioural needs; signpost appropriately using Thrive structures and services. Promote and support service delivery for children and young people with mental health and emotional health needs, providing specialist knowledge to families/carers and professional colleagues. Apply statutory guidance from Working Together to Safeguard Children. Collaborate multi‑disciplinary to promote children's mental and emotional health, and support quality improvement of joint care pathways. Contribute to holistic care planning. Develop a quality assurance plan to review the impact of the specialist role. Participate in multi‑agency assessment and planning for young people at risk; join strategy meetings across Integrated Front Door and CAMHS. Essential qualifications and experience Statutory knowledge and experience within child and adolescent mental health services. Experience in a management/leadership role. Scope and years of experience within children’s mental health services. Demonstrated safeguarding knowledge. Desirable qualifications Experience working alongside a multidisciplinary team. Ability to develop the role within the first three months. Contract & remuneration Band 7 – £47,810 to £54,710 per annum (pro‑rata). Permanent full‑time contract.
