Position A vacancy at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a specialist CAMHS practitioner to be co‑located with Bolton Integrated Front Door. Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team, represent Mental Health Services and possess knowledge of mental‑health law and children’s statutory services. Recognise, promote and support consultation methods to ascertain potential or reported Mental Health, Emotional Health or behavioural needs, and signpost appropriately using Thrive‑aligned structures and services. Promote and support service delivery for Children and Young People with Mental Health and Emotional Health needs, providing guidance, teaching and specialist knowledge to families/carers and other professional colleagues. Understand and have specialist knowledge of the statutory guidance "Working Together to Safeguard Children". Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary way to promote children’s Mental Health and Emotional Health, achieving quality improvement to support the implementation of joint improved care pathways. Contribute to holistic care planning for children and young people. Develop a quality assurance plan to review the efficacy and impact of the specialist role. Contribute to multi‑agency assessment and planning for young people who are at risk to themselves or others (e.g., join strategy meetings and work across Integrated Front Door and CAMHS).
