This is a key role within the UK Marketing team, where you’ll be responsible for delivering impactful campaigns and ensuring our brand remains at the forefront of the veterinary industry.Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll drive the execution of the UK marketing strategy, working closely with internal teams to bring ideas to life across in-practice activity, print, digital and events. Data is key to everything we do at VetPlus, so having a strong understanding and ability to interpret sales trends and develop actionable insights is a core requirement of the role.The role is heavily offline-focussed, with travel to our clients (vet practices) across the UK required on a bi-weekly basis. As a result, we need a great people-person who can clearly communicate their ideas and is experienced in offline marketing.What You’ll Be DoingSupporting the development and implementation of the UK marketing planConducting quarterly competitor analysisProviding monthly market updatesUnderstanding sales trends and developing actionable insightsActing as the main point of contact for UK marketing enquiriesSupporting the planning and execution of UK exhibitions and conferencesCoordinating meetings, events, and logistics for internal and external stakeholdersMaintaining up-to-date marketing documentation and ensuring compliance with SOPsContributing to the annual business planning processVisiting VetPlus clients across the UK, with circa 8 days per month to be spent in fieldAbout YouWe’re looking for someone who is :A data-driven marketeer who is confident in analysing data and trendsA confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skillsHighly organised with strong time management and prioritisation abilitiesA self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentDetail-oriented with a flair for creativity and innovationProficient in Microsoft Excel and other key marketing toolsPassionate about companion animals (a bonus)You’ll also need :Proven experience in a marketing or administrative roleA full UK driving licenceA strong understanding of the UK veterinary market (or a willingness to learn)Who You’ll Work WithYou’ll work closely with :Head of MarketingDigital Marketing ManagerNational Sales ManagerEvents ManagerArea Sales Manager Support CoordinatorPromotional Support OfficerDesign TeamPay and ConditionsMonday – Friday 8-5, fully on-site22 days holiday, plus bank holidays (increasing to 25 days after 2 calendar years’ service)Employee Reward and Recognition SchemesBenefitsCompany PensionEmployee Assistance ProgramOn-Site ParkingReferral programmeSubsidised CafeteriaEmployee DiscountFree On-site GymPrivate Health Care (after 1 year of service)Profit Share Scheme (after 2 years’ of service)Why Join VetPlus?At VetPlus, we’re more than just a business—we’re a family.
