If you're passionate about flood risk management, sustainable drainage, and want to work on a wide range of planning and due diligence projects, we’d love to hear from you.What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll support and deliver flood and drainage projects from start to finish, including:Preparing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and supporting planning documentsContributing to drainage designs using SuDS principles and producing technical drawings and plansSupporting flood risk reviews and reporting for investors and developersWorking closely with clients and other teams across LucionGetting involved in wider service areas like nutrient neutrality and ESG (where relevant)What We’re Looking ForA degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Engineering or similar, or equivalent experienceAround 2–4 years of experience in a flood risk or drainage roleFamiliarity with relevant planning and environmental regulationsStrong communication skills and a proactive attitudeConfidence working with clients and collaborating in teamsExperience using GIS software (QGIS or similar)A willingness to continue learning and working toward professional accreditationWhy Join Us?At Lucion, We Value Our People And OfferCompetitive salary based on experience25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays (with option to buy more)Company-matched pension schemeFlexible/hybrid workingCareer development and chartership supportEmployee wellbeing programmes, discounts, and volunteering opportunitiesA supportive team working on exciting and varied projects – including some of the UK’s largest and most innovative developmentsAbout UsLucion Group is a national, multi-disciplinary consultancy working across environment, health & safety, and sustainability.
