Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst – Wolters Kluwer Location: Alphen aan den Rijn (NL), Madrid, or London. Office: 2‑3 days a week, more if specific projects require. Job profile: The Corporate Development / M&A team is part of the Global Strategy group and reports to the CEO and Chair of the Executive Board. The team supports all five divisions across Europe, partnering with business leaders to source, assess, and execute transactions. Deals range from €5‑500 M, giving the candidate exposure to both small and large deals. Responsibilities Process and review investment opportunities. Work with business teams to build and model business cases. Write management reporting. Process NDAs with legal and prepare offer letters. Coordinate due‑diligence teams. Manage external advisors. Conduct valuations. Engage in discussions with advisors and investors. Qualifications For Success 2‑3 years of experience at a private‑equity firm, an investment bank/M&A boutique, or a financial due‑diligence practice with extensive financial‑modelling experience. Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or equivalent; MBA preferred. High motivation and familiarity with Software/SaaS businesses. Experience building financial and business operational models; strong analytical abilities and good understanding of financial statements. Professional structure and standardisation mindset with project‑management skills under compressed timelines. Curiosity about how businesses work. Collaborative nature and concise, factual communication style. Energetic self‑starter with urgency and ownership mentality. Advanced English written and verbal communication skills. Next‑level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.
