Sports Graduate for Challenging Behaviour. Location: Cheltenham. GL51. Start Date: January 5th. Hours: Full-time, 8: am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: Utilise your sports expertise to engage and motivate young people with challenging behaviour. Work closely with educational and healthcare professionals to develop holistic support plans that incorporate physical activity as a key component. Serve as a positive role model, mentor and coach, understanding the profound impact your guidance can have on a young person's life. Mediate and manage conflict effectively, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment for all. Develop relationships with students built on trust and respect, enabling them to overcome barriers to learning and social integration. What You Will Bring: Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with SEND or SEMH. A creative, proactive approach to engagement and an unwavering commitment to making a real difference. Strong communication and organisational skills. A patient and empathetic outlook with the resilience to face challenges head-on. Enhanced DBS clearance, or willingness to undergo the process. Roles: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Pay: £89 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
