We are working with a leading IP law firm in their search for a Renewals Manager.Primary duties:Process patent and design renewal reminders and cease notices from relevant IPOsReview renewal reminders from overseas agents and forward to clients or internal teams as requiredInvestigate renewal-related queries and correspond with clients and foreign agentsProcess UK and European renewal payments and provide client updatesInstruct foreign agents on renewal payments, monitor progress and report to clientsAct as the main point of contact for external renewals service providersReview and manage renewal batch reports and related documentationMaintain renewal accounts and records with external providersProduce renewal reports for clients on a scheduled or ad hoc basisProvide renewal-related guidance to colleagues and fee earnersSupport and supervise junior team members as requiredContribute to team development by reviewing and improving processesAdditional duties (as needed):Assist with triage and management of incoming email correspondenceProvide cover for shared team inboxHandle general administrative tasks within the Formalities functionSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in patent or design renewals administrationStrong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and ExcelExcellent organisation and time management abilitiesCapable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectivelyStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlinesA proactive team player with a positive attitudeAble to use initiative and work independently where neededExperience supervising or mentoring colleaguesPlease mention IP Careers when applying to IP Support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
