We are looking for a principal or associate hydraulic modeller to lead one of our hydraulic modelling frameworks with a leading UK Water company. The role is based in Bristol or Cardiff.Your roleLead Storm Overflow Discharge Reduction Plan projects, flood alleviation, and environmental solution development.Build, maintain, and verify hydraulic models.Develop and deliver wastewater catchment strategies and solutions.Ensure quality of outputs and compliance with standards & specifications.Drive continuous improvement in project delivery.Support and manage project managers on projects and programmes of works.Support in development of tender responses and fee estimates.Supervise and develop staff, providing guidance for professional development.Contribute to technical innovation and lead improvement workgroups.About YouUnderstanding of UK Water industry and regulatory issues.Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects.Expertise using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.Expertise in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning and solution development.Ability to review others’ work to provide quality assurance and drive continuous improvement.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Expertise in MS 365, PowerBI, SharePoint.Experience with FME, Optimatics, Ruby or similar is advantageous.Relevant degree or vocational qualification.Chartered with a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE or CIWEM) is advantageous.Rewards & BenefitsCompetitive salaries, employee rewards, a range of benefits to suit your health, wellbeing, finances, and lifestyle.
