Project Quantity Surveyor - Major Healthcare Build 4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Project Quantity Surveyor – Healthcare Refurb & Fit‑Out Project Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + Excellent Package Location: Cheshire Our client is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a £20 million healthcare scheme in Cheshire. This complex project involves refurbishment, RAAC remediation, and a fast‑track fit‑out programme. You will play a key role in subcontract management, cost reporting, and maintaining financial control across multiple workstreams. Responsibilities Assist in the management of the commercial aspects of the project from procurement through to final accounts. Prepare and review subcontractor enquiries and tender packages. Support the preparation of monthly valuations and cost reports. Process subcontract payments and manage variations. Collaborate with operational teams to identify and mitigate commercial risks. Monitor site progress and report financial implications of changes. Attend site meetings and liaise with clients and supply chain partners. Ensure that all contractual and financial procedures are followed. Qualifications Experience as a Quantity Surveyor (or Assistant QS ready to step up) on new build and refurbishment projects. Background in construction sectors such as healthcare, education, residential, or commercial. Strong knowledge of groundworks and fit‑out processes. Familiarity with JCT and/or NEC forms of contract. Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively as part of a site‑based team. Degree‑qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar construction discipline. Existing network within the regional/national housebuilding or contractor space is advantageous. Benefits Competitive salary of £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience.
