As the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will:

Take full classroom responsibility for a Year 2 class of around 27 enthusiastic pupils
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
Work closely with the parallel Year 2 teacher and KS1 team to share ideas and best practice
Maintain positive relationships with parents, pupils and colleagues
Contribute to the school's creative curriculum and wider enrichment activitiesThis is a long-term position to start ASAP, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who is:

A qualified Primary Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
Experienced in teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
Creative, dynamic and passionate about inspiring young learners
Confident with phonics and KS1 assessment frameworks
Committed to high standards of teaching and learning
