Bring your compassion, creativity, and commitment to support our students in their learning journey and empower them to succeed We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Wealstun, working as a Learning Support Worker. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week. We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Worker with experience in phonics and reading intervention. The ideal candidate will be confident working with small groups and individual learners to improve reading skills and will provide effective support to teachers within both classroom and workshop environments. Our business is growing year on year due to our continued success as a leading provider in prison education. Site Information HMP Wealstun is located near Wetherby in West Yorkshire. Managed by His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service. The prison operates as a Category C facility, accommodating individuals who have been convicted of various offenses requiring secure custody and rehabilitation. The prisons aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisons feel safe and secure at all times. The Prisons aim is to provide a secure and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.
