Job SummaryDorset County Hospital is recruiting a Housekeeping Assistant to strengthen the friendly and hardworking team. Following several changes to the service we are providing throughout the main hospital and some surrounding sites, we are looking to recruit new staff to help us maintain and improve the standards of cleanliness within the hospital.Available ShiftsMonday to Friday - 6am to 2pm - 37.5 hoursWednesday to Sunday - 2pm to 10pm - 37.5 hoursMonday to Friday - 9am to 3pm - 30 hoursMonday, Saturday and Sunday - 7am to 3pm - 22.5 hoursThursday to Sunday - 7am to 3pm - 30 hoursMain DutiesThe exact duties will vary across the shifts and the areas to be cleaned differ too. However, the main duties of the role remain the same, to keep all areas in the hospital clean for our patients and staff. We operate a 24 hour a day service throughout the year and staff are being recruited for all shifts. There are many different pressures throughout the day and across the hospital. The housekeeping team has to respond to these, working together with colleagues to ensure the best patient experience.
