Education Clinician - Somerset - Maternity CoverWe are recruiting for an Education Clinician to join our Education Services in Taunton and Redhill, Somerset, on a 12 month Maternity Cover.In this role, you will provide direct clinical support to children in our care who are looked after in our Education service. Your primary task will be supporting the children in our schools.You will also work as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team and lead on all aspects of delivery relating to our ATIC model of care. As well as therapeutic support, you will provide consultancy and training to staff teams, develop assessment reports, and create therapeutic support plans.Role requirementsClinical psychologists or counselling psychologists must be HCPC‑registered (pending registration considered if you have a doctorate in clinical or counselling psychology)Child psychotherapists must be UKCP registered and accreditedEssential: must have experience relating to working with children and young people who have experienced trauma and maltreatmentEssential: must have experience working with families and professional statutory systems around looked‑after children (eg local authorities, CAMHS)Desirable: experience completing clinical assessments and delivering training programmeswe are interested in also speaking to a HCPC registered Art TherapistsHoursThis role follows the local authority term time and will be 30 hours per week covering Monday – Thursday 9:00 – 5:00.This is a Maternity Cover for 12 months.You will receiveCompany pension schemeEnhanced DBS check and update serviceSimplyHealth employee healthcare cashback schemeEmployee referral schemeEmployee assistance programmeOngoing personal development and supportLong Service AwardsBlue Light CardDo not delay your application.
