What the day will look like In this newly created role, we are looking for a colleague to provide governance and oversight over our globally and locally mandated trainings. This colleague will be responsible for building and maintaining an inventory of trainings, whether they are globally mandated or required due to local legislations. This colleague will partner with Subject Matter Experts to reduce duplication of content while ensuring that regulatory requirements are met by partnering with local leaders. The successful candidate will liaise with Subject Matter Experts, HR Operations, Talent Development Professionals and Senior Leaders to ensure that trainings are provided to colleagues in a timely manner with colleague experience at the centre of all that they do. This will include ensuring communication standards and appropriate audiences are defined. The colleague will be central to the mandatory training experience for all colleagues, including reporting to Senior Leaders and to the People Risk Committee on training completion, and defining appropriate trainings to our contingent worker population. As part of the CAO Strategy Team, the role will report directly to the Senior People Partner responsible for People Risks, Listening Strategy and Governance. The candidate will be the primary point of contact for all matters relating to mandatory training globally and support the People Risk framework. Create and maintain an inventory of globally and locally mandated trainings Ensure that local regulations that require training to be delivered are met, which could include at state, country or region levels Centralize requests for trainings to be mandated Enhance colleague experience Create and maintain annual calendars of mandated trainings Lead process improvements, including the maintenance of quality and communication standards Partner with the Privacy and Compliance functions to ensure contingent colleagues complete necessary trainings as per the firm’s risk appetite Training completion and delinquency reports, including Workday integrations Support and coordinate the creation or review of content as needed How this opportunity is different Aon continues to invest in the colleague experience, while supporting our People Risk framework. Skills and experience that will lead to success Experience/Knowledge of Human Resources or Learning and Development principles Project management expertise essential Experience in translating legal and regulatory requirements into training outcomes is desirable Ability to work with and across multi-disciplinary teams whilst maintaining independence. Excellent written and oral communication, with experience reporting to management and liaising with externally facing stakeholders. Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks, work to deadlines and produce quality deliverables High level of organizational skills and ability to critically analyze and make decisions.
