Patient Services Team Leader

Role Overview We currently have a vacancy for a motivated team player to join our company as a Patient Services Coordinator Team Lead working within the Prosthetic & Orthotic department at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. The successful candidate will assist in the organisation of the patient service team, reporting into the combined service manager, to provide first‑class customer service and comprehensive administration services to ensure the procurement and delivery of a well‑coordinated busy service. Duties & Responsibilities Act as team lead for patient service coordinators and stores administration for both Prosthetic and Orthotic departments. Oversee procurement for the department, including high‑value items and the loaner process, and lead on stock control and patient item requirement in line with NHSSC project. Support the combined service manager with ad‑hoc duties and new processes introduced. Deal with enquiries from other staff, customers or suppliers quickly and efficiently, including administration of private care patients with prosthetics. Report problems or delays from suppliers to the branch manager and ensure accurate management and recording of all service material consumed during normal branch operations. Carry all warranty and crediting paperwork and prepare paperwork for invoicing, keeping the work in progress to an absolute low at all times and ensuring the team is aware of any outstanding orders and communicating this across the team. Analyse and bring about improvements in processes and working practices. Log and maintain the NCR process – including reporting into central manufacturing and liaising with the technical team in house and Leeds. Support the clinical team in achieving highest levels of own product usage.
