About The OLLIE Foundation The OLLIE Foundation is a suicide prevention charity dedicated to delivering training and resources that support young people, educators, parents, and communities to prevent suicide through education, intervention and support. OLLIE stands for One Life Lost is Enough and was set up by three parents that each lost a child to suicide. We believe in equipping individuals with the skills to hold hope, build resilience and save lives. Role Purpose To lead and grow The OLLIE Foundation’s fundraising and business development activities, supporting income generation through corporate partnerships, individual giving and training‑related business development. The role will help strengthen our financial sustainability while amplifying our reach and impact. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a multi‑stream fundraising strategy, including trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, community fundraising, events, major donors and digital fundraising. Identify grants and funding opportunities aligned with OLLIE’s objectives. Develop and maintain a pipeline of income opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and measurable targets. Grow relationships with corporate, public sector and education partners to expand OLLIE’s training, consultancy and service delivery. Design and promote corporate social responsibility (CSR) offerings, sponsorship packages and partnership opportunities. Support the commercial development of OLLIE’s training services, including pricing, packaging and marketing. Maintain and develop existing donor and partner relationships, ensuring long‑term support and engagement. Represent the charity externally at regular meetings, networking events and presentations. Work closely with the communications team to deliver fundraising campaigns, appeals and engaging supporter content. Use digital platforms (JustGiving, social media, newsletters) to maximise visibility and income. Ensure all fundraising activity is compliant with relevant legislation, ethical standards and data protection laws. Report on income performance, donor engagement and ROI to senior leadership and trustees. Maintain accurate records using CRM systems and grant tracking tools. Person Specification Proven experience in fundraising, business development or income generation (charitable, social enterprise or training services). Excellent networking and relationship management skills. Commercial awareness, with experience developing value‑based partnership propositions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey impact and inspire support. Self‑motivated, innovative, and comfortable working independently in a small, passionate team. Must be a car owner with a full driving licence and able to travel regularly. Knowledge of mental health or suicide prevention sectors. Experience working in a small charity or social enterprise. Familiarity with CRM systems and digital fundraising tools. Experience delivering or marketing training or educational services.
