We're currently recruiting for enthusiastic and reliableSEN Teaching Assistantsto join a welcoming SEN school inDarwenon anad hoc basisthrough our agency.As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll provide classroom and one-to-one support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, communication difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health challenges. You'll work closely with the class teacher and wider support team to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.Provide tailored support to pupils with diverse SEN needs.Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and interventions.Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation.Help pupils develop independence, confidence, and social skills.Maintain a nurturing and safe classroom environment.Previous experience working in an SEN or mainstream school setting (essential).Understanding of autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs.A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children.Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply).Flexibility and availability for ad hoc cover at short notice.Competitive daily rates of pay.Flexible working to fit your schedule.Opportunity to work in a supportive SEN school with excellent facilities.Ongoing CPD and career support through our agency.If you're passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people and enjoy flexible working, we'd love to hear from you.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
